Your membership of Ocean City Hockey Club is confirmed by payment of an annual subscription. Payment of a subscription entitles you to access all the hockey-related activities provided by the Club. This includes; all matches where you are representing the Club (including league, cup and friendlies), training and inter-Club matches, travel to away matches, teas following home matches, invitations to social events (occasionally at additional cost), use of Club kit and equipment, insurance for all hockey-related activities, access to training courses for umpiring and coaching. We believe we continue to provide the best-value hockey in the area.
The subscription rate for full membership for the 2024/25 season is £250. We offer a number of discounted rates:
Full membership (no discount): £250
Full-time student/Unemployed: £200
U18: £150
U14 part of senior or development squad: £150 (when allocated to squad by end September)
U14: £100
U14 additional sibling: £50 (applicable when the older sibling is U18)
U8 including matches: £80
U8 training only: £15 (plus £4 per training event attended)
Payment plans of 1, 2, 4 or 10 instalments are available. All subscriptions are collected by direct debit via GoCardless, a payment collection service. Please use the guide below to help you through selecting your preferred plan and setting up a direct debit.
Goal-keepers using their own kit may receive a further discount. Contact the Treasury team for details.
Players with limited availability should contact the Treasury team for advice.
If you are facing financial hardship the Club may be able to help fund your hockey activities. If you require this support, please speak with your Club Captain or any member of the Executive Committee.
Players should sign up to a payment plan by end September to remain eligible to play for the Club or participate in any other hockey-related activities provided by the Club.
Reasonable expenses associated with hockey activities may be claimed. Please read our Expenses Policy before submitting a claim. Claims should be made using the claim form (saved in .pdf format as teamomail does not support .docx attachments) and sent to treasurykit.ocean@teamomail.com. If applicable, don't forget to attach receipts.
The Treasury team aim to pay any expenses as quickly as possible.
We are aware of some issues e-mailing to the group email address. Any e-mails to the group should come from the e-mail address that you registered to your Teamo account. This is apparently a security precaution put in place by Teamo. There have also been instances of googlemail.com addresses not working.
If after a week you have not received confirmation or payment, please, direct message one of the Treasury committee using the Teamo chat.
