Penzance started the game quickly and went into an early 2-0 nil lead. The 3’s eventually woke up after being reduced to 10 men.
We started to get a grip of the game, competing with the opposition and reduced the arrears with a first senior goal in the 3’s for Freddie Garstang.
A short corner routine levelled the score at 2-2 with Will Cairns finishing off at the near post into the roof of the net.
The game moved into the 2nd half and we created a number of chances with the Penzance keeper keeping the score level at 2-2.
In the end, Penzance sneaked the winning goal, but the 3’s still pushed on for the equaliser but sadly couldn’t quite get there.
A frustrating defeat after a poor start to the game, but special mention to Freddie who was named Man of the Match, and Ben Pennington who was voted DOG.
The 3’s now have a few weeks off.
