Another good match despite the score! I think I scored one of the goals…..oops!
The forwards, Amelie Haley, Nickki Chadwick, Sofia Higgins (and Lucy Barber - briefly!) worked hard and played some really good hockey but just couldn’t get past the Tavistock defence.
Belle Knight, Rae Mossford and Tegen Hunt also did a grand job midfield, as did Eryn Royston, when she wasn’t playing as a back!
The Barber family, along with Rute Serra put up a great defence, which the Tavistock Umpire congratulated me on…..we play masters hockey against each other!
Last but by no means least, after a 30 year gap, Sarah Haley took the pitch and had an amazing game as right back!
After a good half time chat we certainly played better in the second half and I think (hope?!) we all left feeling quite pleased with ourselves!
MOM votes went to Amelia, Eryn, Sofia, Tegen, Rute and Rae but the clear winner this week was Amelie.
Well done everyone 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👍🙂🏑X
