Where to begin with the report today?!?
An early morning message from the GK was not the best start, but it meant a debut in goal for Tom Langrishe!!
A 12.30 pushback in Bude was a tough game, and so the game proved as Bude pushed the 3’s back almost immediately creating a number of chances for the opposition. The 3’s eventually worked their way into the game with some good play along the flanks from the fullbacks. The halftime score of 2-0 to Bude was a little unjust with the 3’s having a few chances to pull a goal back.
The 2nd half started poorly for the 3’s and an early Penalty Corner set the tone for the second half. As the game wore on, the 3’s struggled to cope with the speed and skill of the Bude attack and unfortunately the 3’s defence was breached a number of times.
However, on one of a forays forwards, we were rewarded with a debut goal from Reuben James. An excellent finish from a rapidly improving player.
